Hunter DeWitt: Director of Bands
Mr. DeWitt has been an Ohio music educator for 4 years and has been with Bloom-Carroll High School since 2026. A native to central Ohio, Mr. DeWitt hails from Grove City and holds a Bachelor of Music Education from The Ohio State University. He studied applied trumpet with Tim Leasure, Ted Clark and Ben Guegold while performing in various ensembles.
Throughout his studies and career, Mr. DeWitt has been an active educator throughout central Ohio. He has taught at many school band programs as well as the Columbus Saints Drum and Bugle Corps. All earning awards or breaking records at OMEA and DCA competition. Mr. DeWitt is heavily involved with the marching arts and is now a proud alumnus of TBDBITL and regularly attends the annual TBDBITL Alumni Reunion. He was also a proud member of the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps and still enjoys following Drum Corps International every year.
Mr. DeWitt is a dedicated music educator and is both proud and thankful to be a Bulldog.
