On Saturday, the Marching Bulldogs closed out our historic regular season of contests with a performance at the Thomas Worthington Preview of Champions Contest. The Marching Bulldogs earned Class B (Class is based on school size), Best Percussion, Best Auxiliary, 1st Place Class B and for the 4th time this season straight SUPERIOR ratings! These Bulldogs have had a tremendous year leapfrogging over schools much larger than ours at each contest.
This weekend was no exception as BC’s score was in the Top 4 out of 18 bands, surpassing schools in Class A & AA! We will finish our season this Saturday morning at 10:45am at the 2021 OMEA State Finals at Hilliard Bradley HS. As I reflect on the pandemic and how much was lost, I am thankful for how our students continued to push forward as exhibited by all of the success of the BC organizations this fall.
